A delightful no-bake dessert that combines the refreshing flavor of orange with a creamy whipped filling, inspired by the classic creamsicle popsicle.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs, finely crushed
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 package (3 oz) orange-flavored Jello
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
Additional whipped cream for garnish
Orange slices or zest for decoration
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
In a medium bowl, dissolve the orange Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually pour in the cooled Jello mixture, whisking continuously.
Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Pour the creamy Jello filling into the prepared graham cracker crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Before serving, top the pie with additional whipped cream and garnish with orange slices or zest. Slice and enjoy!
