Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef (or sausage) and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in the marinara sauce and heavy cream to the skillet with the meat. Add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce mixture and mix until fully coated.
  6. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti mixture, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture and finish with the rest of the cheese.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
