Ingredients
Scale:
2 cans (8 ounces each) of refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
½ cup Nutella or chocolate-hazelnut spread (optional)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the cans of crescent roll dough and separate the dough into triangles.
Place about 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips or a small dollop of Nutella at the wide end of each triangle.
Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle towards the pointed end, curving the ends to form a crescent shape.
Brush the tops of the rolled crescents with melted butter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and flaky.
Allow to cool slightly on the baking sheet before dusting with powdered sugar.
