A quick weeknight dinner that combines tender ground beef, savory noodles, and vibrant vegetables in a single skillet.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound ground beef (preferably 80/20)
1 cup bell peppers, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces egg noodles
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 green onions, sliced
Sesame seeds (for sprinkling, optional)
Instructions
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent.
Add the broccoli florets and sliced bell peppers to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, brown sugar, minced ginger, and black pepper. Whisk well to combine.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and pour the sauce over the top. Toss everything together until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.
Remove from heat, sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
