  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Mix well until combined.
  2. Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Then pour in the beef broth, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar. Stir well and return the meatballs.
