A finger-licking appetizer that combines zest and flavor, these wings are a delightful fusion of citrus tanginess and savory goodness.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 pounds chicken wings, trimmed and cleaned
2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, lemon juice, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure all wings are evenly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the wings in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy with an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
For an extra crispy finish, switch the oven to broil for the last 3-5 minutes of cooking.
Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
