  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix in the diced tomatoes, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, mixing thoroughly to combine all ingredients. Remove from heat and taste for seasoning.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the mixture.
  8. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  9. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
  10. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
