Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ripe bananas, sliced
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Chocolate syrup (optional), for drizzling
Whipped cream (optional), for serving
Chopped nuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine sliced bananas, quartered strawberries, brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Gently toss to coat the fruit evenly and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the fruit mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spoon the cobbler topping over the fruit evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
Once baked, remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
